Visual identity and poster for the Seytou Africa Festival 2023, a must-attend event for African and Afro-diasporic documentary cinema, in Paris. The mission was to synthesize and communicate the energy and richness of the 'African Gaze'. Seytou Africa, meaning 'African Gaze' in Wolof, is committed to revealing the talents of the African continent, whose artistic and cultural richness is too often underrepresented. The poster created evokes both modernity and African cultural heritage, to accurately reflect the energy of the festival. I also created a specific typeface for this festival. It is condensed and perfectly suited for highlighting titles, adding an additional dimension to the visual identity of event.
